Audition information: Thank you for your interest in the Celtic Ensemble!!!. If you are a young musician and are interested in being part of the NSCE, you can start by learning the three pieces inlcuded here: Three audition tunes (in Adobe PDF format) you can download. You can then contact the Artistic Director, Claude Giguère at any time to arrange for an audition. (If you love this music and play an instrument other than the violin, send Claude an email as well. We are interested!!!).
Another option is the DROP-IN CLASS, where you can learn the NSCE repertoire in a fun environment. Staying true to the celtic music spirit, this drop-in class was created to help with learning the tunes through listening and participating. Once the repertoire feels somewhat comfortable, then you can audition to be part of the NSCE The initial visit is free.
To be part of the Drop-In class, booklets of 10 vouchers can be purchased for 100.00. The Drop-In class takes place every Wednesday night, 6:15-7:15 p.m., at Handsworth HighSchool, 1044 Edgewood Road, North Vancouver.
If you are interested in booking the ensemble for your event, please contact Claude to arrange further booking details. Promotional packages, in both French and English are also available upon request. Packages contain a sample DVD and CD, an information flyer and several promotional posters.
